VACANCY: Sales Executive

Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and personable Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, understands the value of great customer service, and is eager to grow within the bakery supply industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Sales Growth
- Proactively contact regular customers to take weekly orders.
- Upsell and cross-sell relevant products to increase order value.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing accounts.
- Reactivate lapsed customers through targeted outreach and relationship rebuilding.
- Onboard new customers with a consultative and service-driven approach.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with Business Development Managers (BDMs) on the road to align on customer strategies.
- Share insights and feedback from customers to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects and report on progress regularly.
Customer Care & Issue Resolution
- Deliver end-to-end customer care, ensuring every interaction adds value.
- Handle and manage customer complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Raise credit notes for delivery issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Spot potential issues early and take proactive steps to prevent them.
- Go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a sales or customer service role (B2B preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long- term relationships.
- A genuine interest in food, baking, or the bakery industry is a plus.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
Industry Knowledge & Product Expertise
- Develop a deep understanding of bakery products and industry trends.
- Stay informed about new product launches and seasonal offerings.
- Provide informed recommendations to customers based on their needs.
